Justification of the Energy Use of Cedar Husk Waste as an Environmentally Friendly Additive for Co-Combustion with Coal

In this paper, the properties of ignition mixed fuel pellets formed on basis fairly typical energy coal and wood industry waste in form cedar husks are experimentally established. The technical characteristics initial components mixtures based them, delay times for different mass concentrations biomass coal, composition flue gases during thermal decomposition these fuels their base were determined. Pellets made by a hydraulic press. experiments performed an air environment at temperatures from 600 °C to 800 °C. Recording processes pellet combustion was carried out using high-speed video camera with image format 1024 × pixels, frame rate up 500 frames per second. analysis gas Test-1 factory analyzer (BONER Co.). It found that increase share 50% led significant reduction time less than 1 s sequestration sulfur oxide emissions 37.6% nitrogen oxides 3.8% studied granular fuels.
